My husband Lee and I made an offer on seven acres in Only, TN. On Monday Lee had off work so we spent the afternoon at the property. It was so much fun! We made a parking spot by cutting trees down. We cut a trail to the dry creek bed. We cooked chicken over a fire. I said it was an answer to prayer. Then Judgment said "and God said yes."
On Tuesday we found out the property has a $83,000 Federal lien against it. We withdrew our offer. The seller may be able to clear it in a few months. It has been a roller coaster ride, but maybe God is just saying "Wait." We should definitely wait on Him. He works all things together for good to them that love Him to them that are called according to his purpose.
